General carpenter position available

Requirements:

- Experience in renovation & carpentry fields

- Current WHIMIS and Fall Arrest certification

- Valid Driver’s license

- CPIC

Responsibilities:

- Demonstrates skill in the safe operation of shop tools such as table saw, power drill etc.

- Reads scope of work to determine method of installation, work procedures and material and tool requirements

- Can to take direction from others

- Capable to load and unload material from a jobsite

- Able perform various types of physical labour including heavy lifting, standing and bending

- Proficient in installation of hardwood, laminate and other flooring products

- Proficient in installation of ceramic tile flooring, wall tile and custom showers

- Proficient in installation of fine carpentry such as cabinetry in kitchens and bathrooms

- Proficient in installation of doors, windows, siding, soffit and fascia

- Proficient in installation of interior doors, casing and baseboard trims

- Proficient in installation of interior and exterior railing systems

- Working knowledge of plumbing and electrical
